Second Semester Starts Today!
This week marks the beginning of second semester, which is a great time to take advantage of fresh starts for ourselves and for the kids. I encourage you to seize this rare opportunity to hit the "refresh" button!
Here's a look at the week ahead:
Tuesday 1/19: First day of Semester 2/Quarter 3. Wednesday schedule with extended Town Meeting! Makeup exams for absent students.
Wednesday 1/20: Whole staff PD day. Please remember to sign up for one of the afternoon sessions, if you haven't already!
Thursday 1/21: Amanda at RIDE for District Network Meeting. Should be back on campus around 11 am.
Friday 1/22: Syllabi and UbDs for new, second semester courses due to Amanda/Brian.

Beacon/Founders Winter Music Concert will be held Thursday, February 4 at 7:00 pm in the Beacon Theatre Workshop. Performing will be the Beacon Beats, the Founders Falsettos and the Beacon Jazz Quartet.

Murphy's Memo
If a student is unhappy with an IDEA block assignment, they need to email me. I will only make adjustments to IDEA with an email request at this point. It began to be too much and I find if they are really that upset about it they will email.
