NEWS FROM THE GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT
AP Testing
AP Testing will take place at CB West from Monday, May 1 through Friday, May 12, 2017. All students who registered for AP Exams attended a Pre-Administration Session, where they completed the demographic information required of all test-takers. Completing this section in advance will hopefully save all students about a half-hour of seat time on each exam day. All registered students will receive a confirmation letter in Advisory by Friday, April 28th, listing the tests they are taking, the start times, and the room numbers for the tests. To see a complete list of test dates, please see the Testing Page of the Guidance Website.
Senior Survey
All Seniors must complete a Senior Survey, in which they will indicate their specific academic and/or career plans for after graduation. This information is reported to the state each year, and therefore is an obligation for graduation. The survey will be available to students in the beginning of May, and must be completed by June 1st. The Senior House will be sending specific instructions for how to access and complete the survey during the first week of May.
Summer School
2017 Central Bucks Summer School remedial courses will only be available in an online format, through Educere. There are no Summer School courses available for initial or enrichment credit, with the exception of Health/PE. Detailed information about summer school, including registration links, will be made available by June 1st. Students who wish to take Health/PE in summer school (for either remedial or initial credit) may attend a course taught by a CB instructor, held at Unami Middle School. To register for Health/PE, please visit the Community School Website (click “Extra Activities and Summer Programs List > Summer 2017 PE/Health Class at Unami Middle School).
