A Message from the Principal
December 13, 2021
Dear Holy Family Catholic School Community,
During this third week of Advent we await the birth of the Christ Child with Joy!
Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who attended our Monday Morning Prayer and the joyful PK and K Christmas performance in the library. Our young students did an amazing job celebrating Christmas cheer with their energetic singing! Kudos go to Mrs. Hurst, Mrs. Jonkers, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Fitzsimons, and Mrs. Hankins for helping our students shine.
I look forward to seeing you this evening for our Sounds of the Season Christmas Concert featuring our great band and our music students. I sat in on the rehearsal this morning and the music was fantastic! Thanks go to Ms. Bernal and Mrs. Hurst for creating this concert for our school community.
Please join us on Friday, in the church at 8:30am for our Christmas Pageant.
First semester has gone so fast! I am so grateful for your support of HFCS and for our community of faith, we truly are a Holy Family. Here is a prayer from Lead, Kindly Light, The Notre Dame Book of Prayers in honor of this special season of light.
Bless us, Lord, as we come to Bethlehem,
where animals and angels, shepherds and seekers
together behold your face.
Here snow becomes straw and frost becomes flowers
as winter melts into everlasting spring.
In our holy Christmas, in this festival of Christ,
give us the riches of poverty and the power of weakness
as we join the angels in proclaiming your praise:
Glory in heaven and peace on earth,
now and forever. Amen.
Have a blessed Christmas and a fun and safe Christmas break with your family and friends,
Ann Walters
Principal
