Director's Note
The Aquin Theater Department's Spring Musical about a committee of townspeople getting together to decide how to present a play to demonstrate patriotism. They want to make sure that everyone gets the point of patriotism without the partisanship that is so often displayed in today’s world. With the use of the Preamble of the United States, a series of vignettes and a lot of patriotic music, they get their point across.
It’s a real 'stand-up and salute' presentation of what it means to be American. Intended to bring us back to the reality of what our forefathers meant when they constructed the documents that have been the foundation of our country for almost 250 years. It is our hope that it will rekindle in each of you what our country is all about.
