Principal's Corner
This year the more we inspect what we expect the more likely we are to meet our goal of increasing student achievement.
What that looks like for administration is being in classrooms everyday, meeting with staff to provide feedback on lessons and best instructional practices, and talking to students.
What that looks like for teachers is consistently providing feedback to students, setting goals with students, collaborate with colleagues, and actively monitoring students during the lesson to collect data and clearing up confusion.
What that looks like for students is goal setting and reflecting on their work, asking questions, and trying their best when they are at school.
What that looks like for parents is asking teachers to see their child's data, looking at their child's school work and having a conversation about meeting their goals, and collaborating with the campus to support student success.
Thank you again for partnering with us in inspecting what we expect. We know all of our students are capable of greatness so we expect nothing less.
Our motto this year is Believe It! Achieve It!
Sincerely,
Principal Pitts
