PTA Board Nominations
For President: Megan West
My name is Megan West. I have 2 daughters that will be attending Groves. One heading into Dual Language 3rd grade and one into Dual Language Kindergarten. They keep me busy with cheer and dance!! By day I am a Neonatal Speech Language Pathologist that specializes in infant feeding and infant feeding disorders. I work at Medical City McKinney in the NICU. I am team lead and team educator and love every minute! I am excited about the opportunity to work with and lead Groves PTA!
For Vice President: Alexa Roston
My name is Alexa Roston. I am the proud parent of a 2nd grader named Kyle. I am a full time working mom and am currently a regional manager for Baylor Scott and White Health. I want to be on the PTA board because I’m interested in sharing my leadership abilities with other parents and teachers so that we can continue building on the growing success of Groves elementary. I think I will be a good fit for the PTA because I have a passion for seeing children grow and flourish from the resources the PTA provides. I also am willing to share ideas to help maintain the success of the PTA and I always volunteer to help out when I can.
No current nominations for Treasurer
For Secretary: Raney Krev
My name is Raney Krev. I am the Supervisor of the Sam Johnson Recreation Center. I like to take every opportunity to speak to Rotary clubs, school groups, and various non-profit organizations about the rapidly growing senior population. My husband and I have two beautiful girls Reagan (6), and Kenzie (2). As a family they enjoying going on camping adventures, exploring nature and spending time at local parks. The girls are very active in Martial Arts and Ballet. Reagan recently became a team member of the US Martial Arts team and will be competing at World Games. I have always wanted to be in an active role within my daughter’s school by joining the PTA, volunteering for school field trips, and any event that the school needs help in. Over this last year, I served as Council Delegate and a volunteer at several of the events as well as Mom on Duty. Over the next 3 years, I would like to become more involved in PTA and continue to volunteer for field trips, school events and Moms on Duty and to ensure she receives a quality education.
