APEX Fun Run!

We are so excited to tell you about the Apex Fun Run event! The Apex program teaches leadership and fitness to our students who are raising pledges for the Fun Run on Thursday, October 2nd.

This year's character theme is "Apex Extreme," where students will join the Apex team in a nationwide Extreme Race to learn what it means to become an Extreme Leader.

Students are raising pledges for the laps they run (between 26 and 36, 36-lap max). Each lap is 1/16th of a mile. For instance, $1 per lap means $30 dollars total pledged if the student runs 30 laps.

Here's the important part! The majority of the funds raised this year will go to our school to pay for Technology Updates and Outdoor Improvements. In addition, the PTA will be creating a “classroom supplies” store and each teacher will get to spend 10% of what their class raises for much needed supplies from the store for their own classroom.

Make sure you click on the link below to login your child and specify their t-shirt size. All students will get a FREE Apex t-shirt to wear on the day of our fun run. www.apexfunrun.com

We hope to see you at the Fun Run next week!
