- Identity Theft is where someone gets all of your personal information like your Social Security Number your credit card number and pin number etc... and they use your information to purchase things for them self.
- A few steps a person can do to protect their personal information is don't give away credit card numbers, your signature, Social security number, etc...
- The information that gets stolen is your address, Social security number, birthday, credit card numbers, signature, etc...
- With Your personal information a thief can act as though they are you. They can go and pull money out of your account, buy them self a house, car etc...
- If your identity is stolen you should report a fraud report to the police and you change all of your accounts and close the account that they have your information to.
