Strategic Behavioral Center features 3 locations in North Carolina offering Psychiatric Residential Treatment (PRTF) and Acute Psychiatric Inpatient for boys and girls. We currently have beds available now to serve youth with persistent behavioral health challenges or who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.
Psychiatric Residential Treatment (PRTF_
- For boys & girls age 12 to 17
- Medicaid, TriCare, and most commercial insurances accepted
- This program is ideal for children who have tried lower levels of care and need a higher level of treatment.
- Our PRTF program focuses on helping children recognize their symptoms and triggers, and teaches them more appropriate, safe ways to conduct themselves - resulting in increased self esteem and harmony within their homes and communities.
Acute Psychiatric Inpatient
- For boys and girls age 5 to 17
- Medicaid, TriCare, and most commercial insurances accepted
- This program is ideal for children who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, who may be in danger of harming themselves or others
- Our Acute Psychiatric Program focuses on stabilizing the child to increase safety, monitoring, and linking the child with an appropriate service within their home community for continued care.
