News You Need to Know about JHS!--September 2021
Welcome to the 2021 - 2022 School Year
August rolled through in a hurry, and here we are in September. Once the school year gets moving, it really does take off.
As we continue to deal with Covid and the remains of the pandemic, we truly appreciate everyone's flexibility and understanding as we continue to navigate what comes our way. At every step, we are looking to do what is best for our students. Thank you for being so patient.
September is full of activity, the biggest being Homecoming Week. We are looking forward to that exciting week. Of course, our focus is always on our academics. Progress reports will be going out on the 15th. We encourage students and families to reach out to teachers if they need some additional help. We can help when we know you are struggling. Try to advocate for yourself.
Unfortunately, we started the year off with some tragic news as we lost one of our own. Tori Clinch tragically passed away as a result of an automobile accident. The Jimtown family rallied around and supported each other. We will all keep her memory with us and we are planning a celebration in her honor during Homecoming Week. We will post more details in soon.
As always, if families have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We are looking forward to a positive September.
