Our school social worker will be hosting student support groups. The groups offered this nine-weeks will be anxiety and coping skills, social skills, and emotional regulation skills. Groups will meet once a week for six weeks and will be held during BEST on Tuesdays or Thursdays. Written parent consent will be required for your student to attend. If your student still needs immunizations to be compliant by the September 1 deadline, please contact the Fishers Health Department. FHD has appointments available now, so please schedule as soon as possible. Don't wait until 8/26 to register and schedule an appointment.

CONSESSION STAND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Fall sports are in full swing! We need volunteers to work both the outdoor and indoor concession stands, depending on the day and sport. We are using SignUp.com to organize the volunteer shifts. INFORMATION FROM THE TREASURER

Student Fees

2022-23 student fees will be posted in Skyward the first week of September. You will be able to see your fees in Skyward once they are posted. An email notification will be sent to parents with a fees invoice attachment. The due date for payment is October 3, 2022. The preferred payment method is via eFunds. However, you may also send in a check or cash payment to FJH. Please include your student’s name and ID number on the check. Up to $8.35 in processing fees along with collection fees may be added if the balance remains outstanding after the due date.


Free and Reduced Assistance

Financial Assistance for students is available for those that qualify. If you have submitted an application for Free & Reduced School Meals, and it is approved, this also covers your student fees. You will be notified by the HSE Food Service Dept. if your application was approved, denied or more information is needed. Please allow extra time for the application to be processed and posted in Skyward. It may not appear on Skyward until later in September. A new application must be completed for this school year, one per household. Last years’ approval carries over for the first 30 days of school only. At that time all fees are applied.


Returned Checks

The HSE School Board of Trustees has authorized a $20 fee for returned checks written to school.

It not only provides a space to post information about events, camps, and other educational programs. It also offers the opportunity to find upcoming activities in and around Hamilton County.

MUDSOCK YOUTH ATHLETICS

It’s Basketball Time!

Registration for our recreational basketball programs for both boys and girls is officially open with waitlists forming after August 31st. Register now at myathletics.com. The leagues welcome athletes in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The girls season runs from November through early March. Boys (K) play January through March, (1st - 6th) November through March, and (7th/8th) January through March. Find the girls basketball information packet here. Scholarship Program

Everyone plays. Mudsock Youth Athletics offers full and partial registration scholarship opportunities to children who qualify for free or reduced lunch within the Hamilton Southeastern School District. Families must apply and be accepted during our open registration period. For winter sports these dates are August 1st – August 31st.
