The Chicks Are Here!

Our kindergarten classes are so excited to welcome 90 chicks into the world. The students have learned all about the development of chicks in the egg, witnessed their hatching, and held these adorable little chicks. It is definitely spring at Davis.

Who Is Your Mother?

For Mother's Day our Davis staff shared pictures of their mothers and displayed them in the LRC. The students were excited to match the mothers pictures with their teachers. One little first grader asked, “You have a mommy?” Yes, we do!

CARE Meetings Kindness Month

May is Kindness Month and to celebrate, the students of Richmond Intermediate will be participating in two school-wide activities.

  1. “Kindness is Free! Sprinkle that Stuff Everywhere!” Throughout the month, students will be encouraged to complete random acts of kindness. After completing their act, students will be given a square to add to our “Sprinkle Kindness” wall in the front foyer. We will also be encouraging students to celebrate when they see others showing kindness! Watch social media to see pictures of our kindness wall as it grows throughout the final month of the school year.

  2. May 9: Kindness Rocks - During the week of May 9th all students will be decorating a kindness rock to spread positivity. Students will be encouraged to place their rock somewhere either on school grounds, at their home, or in their neighborhood, etc. This spring and summer, be on the lookout for Richmond Kindness Rocks in the community.

Join Band in 2022-2023!

As a reminder, third graders can join orchestra and 5th graders can join band. Yes, you can join both if interested in band and orchestra. Have questions about our programs?

Contact Jen Lydisgen - jennifer.lydigsen@d303.org for band or visit the band website which has information about instruments, rental prices, band lessons, etc.
