"Just a Good Kid" Award Winners
On April 28, 2022, The Dennis-Harwich Rotary club held their annual "Just a Good Kid" Award ceremony. A delicious breakfast at Grumpy's was had and three of our seniors were recognized. Evelyn Sheeran, Jason Metters, and Julia Calisto all embody the characteristics of a "good kid" as the Rotary Club looks to honor students who enjoy school, work hard, volunteer in their community, are respectful, courteous, honest, responsible and are a good friend to others.
Fritz visits Advanced Drawing & Painting class
Officers Clarke and Fritz visited Ms. Waystack's Advanced Drawing & Painting class on Tuesday, April 26th. Officer Clarke had the opportunity to share fascinating information about Fritz and his work on the K9 force. But our ulterior motive for having him in was so the class could practice gesture drawing!
Gesture drawings are typically where artist work quickly just to capture the essence and movement. The model holds the pose very briefly for anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes at a time.
Fritz was a fantastic model who held his poses really well due to his excellent training- and the enticement of a ball!
More K9 Fritz gear is here! Order by this Sunday 5/1
If you choose "I will pickup my order" you can save money on shipping and Officer Clarke will distribute them locally.
Check out these recent photos to see what K9 Fritz and Officer Clarke have been up to!
