Reminder ( Message from the PGSD IT Department ): DiLE Summer Take-Home Option ....(Ipads)
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Just a reminder, as we approach the end of the school year, we will be offering students currently in 9th, 10th, and 11th grades the opportunity to keep their laptops over the summer. As we did last year around this time, we are asking parents of students for whom the summer option is appealing to prepay the device coverage fee for the 2019-2020 school year. The fee for device coverage is the same as last year ($35.00 for the laptop).
We do ask that you confirm your intent to participate via a brief survey found here as well as acknowledge agreement to the terms and conditions of the DiLE program. Payments can be made on the MySchoolBucks website found here or by check payable to Pottsgrove School District and must be made by June 1st, 2019. *Please note that if fees have not been received by June 14th, student devices will be disabled for the summer.
To the parents of current Middle School students: Due to the proposed replacement of student iPads at the Middle School, we will be collecting all devices from students at the beginning of June, in homeroom classes. To prevent any charges for the replacement of equipment, students will be required to turn in their iPad and the original Apple charging cable and brick. Lost or damaged equipment can be purchased on the MySchoolBucks website found here.
To the parents of all High School students not participating in the Summer Take-Home option: We will be collecting devices from students at the beginning of June. To prevent any charges for the replacement of equipment, students will be required to turn in their laptop, original Apple power brick, and their laptop bag with shoulder strap. Lost or damaged equipment can be purchased on the MySchoolBucks website found here.
We will send details on the distribution of devices to the parents and guardians of High School and Middle School students over the summer.
~ Note: We will collecting all Ipads, Cords and Chargers the last days of the 2018-19 School Year ~
Pottsgrove Middle School Music Department News!!
On Friday, May 3, the middle school orchestra, chorus, and band performed at the High Notes competition at Dorney Park. The groups impressed the judges by each receiving the highest rating of "Superior." After all of the performances the students then went to Dorney Park for the rest of the day. Mr. Einhorn, Mrs. Bean, and Mr. Hayes were very proud of how well the students behaved and represented Pottsgrove Middle School!
