Town holiday schedule
Town of Sunnyvale facilities will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of Thanksgiving.

- For all other emergencies, please utilize 9-1-1
Business will resume on Monday, Nov. 29 at 8 a.m.
Holiday trash schedule
Republic Services will not collect trash on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 25.
Residential:
Recycling will be collected on Friday, Nov. 26.
Solid waste will be picked up on Saturday, Nov. 26.
Commercial:
Republic Services will pull commercial routes forward as much as possible during the week of Nov. 22.
Turkey Trot
We are less than a week away from our third annual Turkey Trot! There is still time to sign up to join us on Thanksgiving Day - Nov. 25, 2021 at Raider Stadium.
The Turkey Trot is a 5K and a 1-mile fun run/walk. Runners are encouraged to begin arriving at 7 a.m. and the race will begin at 7:30 a.m. Registration for the Turkey Trot is free. Click the "Turkey Trot Registration" button below to register. The first 200 to register will receive a runner's bib and a medal. Bibs, medals, and pre-ordered t-shirts may be picked up before the start of the event.
Currently, registration stands at about 250 attendees! We are so excited to see everyone!
**Turkey Trot t-shirt sales ended on Nov. 5, however a limited number of t-shirts will be for sale at the event. T-shirts are $25 and all proceeds benefit the Sunnyvale Animal Shelter.**

Save the date for the Christmas tree lighting!
Mark your calendars... the Town of Sunnyvale's annual Christmas tree lighting will be held on Friday, Dec. 3 from 6 - 8:30 p.m.
Town staff is working to plan an evening full of fun for you and your family. Join us for cookies, hot cocoa, Santa, SNOW, and more!
