August 16 - Meet the Teachers
August 18 - First Day of School
Doors open at 7:20am. School starts at 7:40am
A Note from Mrs. Williams
As you may already know, changes are on the horizon. As of today, we will be offering a remote option for students Kindergarten-6th grade in NISD for the first 9 weeks of school. Please refer to Dr. Warren's email that was sent out this afternoon. More information about this will be shared soon through NISD communication. No matter your decisions for remote or in-person learning, it will be a great year of learning and growth for our students!
With this new option being made available, we anticipate changes to our class rosters. We will have these ready for the start of school, but due to the changes, these will not be completed prior to Meet the Teacher on Monday. Even with these adjustments, our grade level teachers are eager to meet you and your child! We will still host our Family Reunion (Meet the Teachers) on Monday evening, where you'll get to meet the grade level teachers. Please see the graphic below for more information.
As soon as we know more, we will share it as soon as possible. Despite any changes, this year will still be filled with wonderful learning experiences for your child. We look forward to seeing you soon!
Registration
Have you registered your returning student yet?
We can’t wait to welcome your family back!
With just a week left until school starts, we are asking parents to make sure your registration is complete. It must be completed for your child to be assigned a teacher.

Select the Registration icon toward the top of the page and click the "Update Enrollment" tab.
Click on the word START to access your child's 2021-2022 enrollment form.
Tips To Get Started:
- Registration is mobile-friendly and does not have to be completed on a computer.
- Use your smartphone to snap a photo of a recent (within 30 days) utility bill, lease, or closing papers if you just purchased your home.

What's Happening in NISD
Free Meal Program Extended for Elementary, Middle Schools
All Northwest ISD students in elementary and middle school will continue receive free breakfast and lunch meals during the 2021-2022 school year! While students in high school will not take part in the same program, they can continue to apply for free or reduced-price meals.
Though meals are free to all elementary and middle school students, we strongly encourage families to continue to apply for the free and reduced-price meal program, as there are further benefits that can help reduce financial hardship. An accurate count of students in need also helps provide the appropriate programs at schools. Anyone who previously applied for the free or reduced-price meal program or believes they may now qualify based on their financial circumstances should still apply. This will also ensure these students receive free or reduced-cost meals for at least the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year.
