A Note from Our Food Service Director, Mrs. Elliott
The Southwestern Food Service will be launching a new computer system next year. We will have a site called EZSchoolPay where it will make applying payments to your student's meal account simple and streamlined.
The options available with our current system will still be available with EZSchoolPay. Parents will be able to deposit money on a student's account and trust that the funds will hit the meal account within 15 minutes. Parents are able to receive a notification for low balances and set up automatic deposits. Our parents will also have the option to set up joint accounts between siblings or single accounts for each. With a joint account, each student will still have their own lunch code, but will pull from the same funds.
EZSchool pay comes to us in the form of a website and an app for mobile devices. You can log on from any device handy to you and from any type of browser. Not only can a parent monitor the balance in their student's account with EZSchoolPay, they can monitor their purchases as well. If a parent would like to limit ala carte purchases, they can also do that from this site. This is a one-stop-shop for our parents.
Rest assured we will take great care in the transfer of funds from our current program to the new one. This is a simple data transfer and EZSchoolPay will handle that.
There will be details on the website and at registration to direct you to EZSchoolPay. Nothing will change for the students when they return. They will still enter in their 4 digit meal code for breakfast and lunch.
To set up your meal account on EZSchoolPay, you will need an email address and your student's 9 digit State ID number. This can be found by logging on to INOW and looking under the "demographic" section for your child. Please contact Mrs. Elliott, celliott@swshelby.k12.in.us, with any questions. Thank you for dining with us!

Send Us Your Spartan Special Moments!
Our community is extremely proud of the many accomplishments and positive stories involving the students, teachers, staff, and programs at Southwestern Consolidated Schools of Shelby County that we may not always get to hear. If you would like to have your positive story shared with the Spartan Nation, please send the details to Mrs. Lindsay Chase, Director of Curriculum, Literacy, and Interventions. We would love to share your positive stories that include personal achievements of your child such as serving as a volunteer in a non-profit organization, earning awards or recognition in 4-H, earning badges in Girl Scouts, etc, and etc. You may just see your story in a future edition of "The Spartan Special" or in The Shelbyville News! We want to celebrate our Spartans. You can't hide that Spartan pride!
