Open House
Thank you parents for coming to Open House on Monday and thank you teachers for opening your rooms for parents to come in!
Life After High School
Tuesday night the counselor's office hosted "Life After High School" to connect students and parents with information they needed to be successful in the next stage of their lives.
Homecoming Carnival
On Wednesday Consol hosted the annual Homecoming Carnival from 5:30 to 7:30. Student groups hosted several booths for all students and community members to come and participate.
Homecoming Dance
The Expo Center was packed full of Tigers on Saturday night for the annual Homecoming Dance. Thank you STUCO, teachers, and parents for helping make the dance a success!
Iron Man!
Coach Ryan Goodwyn competed in the Oklahoma City Redman Iron Man. Way to go Coach Goodwyn!
Half Day Staff Development
On Wednesday CSISD had the first of 5 half day staff development sessions. AMCHS faculty & staff members attended a general faculty meeting to review attendance and discipline data as well as staff recognition and fellowship. Then faculty members worked in departments to examine grade data which then allowed teachers to shape instructional practice through peer collaboration based off student data.

The Consol Tennis Team took on College Park and Oak Ridge this week!

The Roar
Volume 18 No. 1 of The Roar was issued on 9-28-12. Students were greeted at the door by the newspaper staff students to distribute the news papers.
Tiger Volleyball
The Tiger Volleyball Team swept Conroe in 3 games on the road Tuesday. The volleyball team had an open date on Friday.
Tiger Football
The Tiger football team lost to Lufkin in a thrilling 4-Over Time game. The Tigers will travel to the Woodlands on Thursday for a 7pm kickoff.
Tiger Cross Country
The Tiger XC Teams took this week off from competition to complete training runs as they prepare for the district meet on October 25th in Lufkin.
9th Girls Champions
The 9th girls XC team won their team division at the Cedar Park Invitational.
CX season heating up!
Jochen remains one of the state’s top-ranked runners and had been training with an eye toward state and national competitions before making her 2012 debut with the Lady Tigers last week. Karis Jochen dominates at Cedar Park
Footlocker All-American and 2011 Gatorade Athlete of the Year had a great season opener at the Cedar Park Invitational. Karis ran the 5k course in a quick 17:28 to earn an 11 second victory over Katie Jensen from College Park (17:39).
