Dearborn STEM Academy

Please join the faculty and staff of the Dearborn STEM Academy and learn more about the classes your child is taking. You will get to visit each of the classes and will receive important information about each class. You will also get to meet the support staff of counselors, administrators, and others who work with your child every day.

Please check out the great publicity. Thanks Mardi Fuller!

Four Dearborn students and Jon LoPorto were featured in a WCVB Chronicle segment last week!

Check it out at minute 2:42 here:

You can also play a game developed by Dearborn students called "Abuela Siempre Tiene Razon", just below the clip on the website!!!!

Please share this widely -- it is such a great testament to Dearborn leadership and staff, our students and to JLo's work growing a computer science program over the last four years.

Fire Drill

Last week the entire Dearborn Stem Academy participated in our first Fire Drill. All students, staff and visitors were able to quickly exit the building in a timely and orderly fashion.

According to Massachusetts rules and regulations we are required to hold drills periodically throughout the year. We will continue to update you after each drill.

Please continue to talk to your child about the importance of paying attention and listening when drills are run. Thank you.

If you need help...

Call the Dearborn School and talk to any of the Administrators , Nurse or Counselors.

By the way...what should I wear?

A DSA t-shirt, polo shirt or sweatshirt. It must say DSA. We are not focused on the pants or the shoes; just look school appropriate.

L&M Bargain Store carries the DSA shirts and sweatshirts. They have two locations, one at 745 Dudley Street in Upham's Corner and one in the Plaza at 640 American Legion Highway in Roslindale.
