Summer Fun

The summer fun has already started with a visit from Kelly the Clown of the Ringling Bros. Circus and an epic retro video game day. Saturday, June 20, 10am-noon, World Juggling Day and Big Kites (weather permitting) will be at James G. Thompson Park in Pottsboro. Free juggling balls for the first 30 who arrive. There will be free juggling lessons and a show. If the weather isn't right for kite flying, the juggling will move to the library. A petting zoo with pony rides for children is free and open to the public on Friday, June 26, 1-3pm, and a science museum on wheels will be here from 1-5 on that day. Teens are going to create a stop-motion video on July 10-11 in an all-night intensive film shoot. Call for more information. A snake show will be here on Friday, July 31, from 10-noon. Mark your calendars. Summer reading is for everyone.
