Our students were excited to have some outdoor recess this week. Today was an especially great day for outside recess and a fire drill as well :)

The excitement is growing for the upcoming holiday break. Next week we have some fun events planned. On Wednesday and Thursday, students will be in groups to take part in Makerspace projects. On Friday, there will be holiday activities going on including classroom parties at the end of the day.

What's one thing you couldn't live without?

Books, for sure!

What is your FAVORITE thing to do?

Bake, read, or play games with my husband and daughter.

Where is the best place you've traveled to?

Nashville. I've been a couple of times but I always experience something new!

Who is your biggest inspiration? Why?

My family. I always want to be better for them and I strive to make sure we have a great life! My daughter is such a fast learner and my husband is such a hard worker. They inspire my to always go after my dreams, never give up, and always be myself!

What is the best book you've ever read?

This is so tricky! There are honestly so many but one of my favorites is Alice in Wonderland. I own 5 copies!

What is your favorite thing about working at Monroe Elementary School?

Watching my students grow and become the awesome little people that they are. Also my coworkers are just the best. They aren't just people I work with, but my friends!

Tell us something that might surprise us about you.

I have owned every video game console that Nintendo has made.
