Hansen Weekly Update

April 8, 2022

Hi Hansen Students, Parents, and Families!

We have had a busy and exciting week here at the Hansen! First, congratulations to all of our fourth grade students and staff, who participated in their first two sessions of English Language Arts MCAS this week. Our students were prepared and approached each session with great attitudes and put forth their best efforts. We are proud of them! Next week, our Grade 5 students will participate in their two ELA sessions on Monday and Wednesday, while Grade 3 participates on Tuesday and Thursday.

Also, all of our students had a wonderful time participating in our school-wide Boosterthon Fun Run on Wednesday! This was the culminating event of our school's Boosterthon experience over the previous seven school days. Students engaged in character lessons and videos, focused on building classroom and community spirit, and enjoyed time with 'Astro Ally' and 'Alligator Andy' over the course of the experience. And, we are incredibly grateful for the donations that students earned from family and friends in support of our school. In total, we raised over $32,000! Thank you to our Hansen student and family community, our amazing CAPT, and Hansen staff for supporting this event on behalf of all of us at the Hansen!

Please enjoy some of this weeks' Hansen highlights through the pictures below...
