Challenge for the Week...

I am so proud of our teachers and staff! You guys are doing some incredible things in your classrooms. I walk by and constantly see students deeply involved in learning. Thank you so much for all you do each day.

This week, I am challenging you to check on one of our new staff members that you may not know very well. Encourage them and share the incredible wisdom you have.

ESOL Walks...

Just a heads up, Leah Panthier (District K-5 ESOL coordinator) will be conducting ESOL walks on the 9th, 10th, and 11th at various times throughout the day. There is nothing you need to prepare or do differently, we just wanted to make you aware.

School Improvement Plan (SIP)

Our School Improvement Plan is due on Tuesday. If you have a chance, please take a look at it and share any feedback you might have. The plan will pretty remain the same, but there were a few adjustments we needed to make. Here is the link:

School Data Sheet

Here is the link for the school data sheet. Please start entering your kiddos information for this year. Be careful to not adjust or change the formulas (easiest to avoid the copy/paste).

Your teams have done a phenomenal job thus far in PLCs. We hear lots of great conversations about what you are teaching students and how well they are mastering the standards. Great job collaborating and working together. All of your students will benefit from the collective knowledge each of you bring.

Team Spotlight

This week we would like to spotlight 2nd grade.

In the words of Mr. Soto, "2nd grade is second to know one!" They had the highest percentage of lessons passed on iReady Math. Great job team! Keep up the awesome work!

Coaches' Corner

Access Lucy Calkins Units of Study in Reading and Writing Videos to help with implementation.

You may need to log in or create an account to view.
