May Crowning

On Wednesday we celebrated May Crowning. Our 2nd grade students wore their First Communion outfits and did the parts of the Mass. We also had a processional outside to our Mary statue.

DARE

Students in 5th Grade participated in the DARE program this year. The program addresses drug and alcohol usage, but also talks about bullying, conflict resolution skills, and many other helpful topics. We were fortunate to have Officer Kohn of the Kewaskum Police Department come in and teach the program. The students had a graduation on Friday, April 30th. Thank you to everyone for your support in this program.

Student Transportation Cards for the 2021-22 school year are due Friday, May 7th. Please complete one form per child who require transportation within the Kewaskum School District. Thank you to those who have already turned them in!

Host Family Still Needed

NEED FOR HOST FAMILY - Immediate need

Natalia, 16, from Bolivia, will be attending Kewaskum HS in September, and she has requested a Catholic host family. She loves to sing in the choir, enjoys volleyball, tennis, skating, swimming, biking, bowling, and movies. She loves cats, and dogs, and would love any type of family, single parent, grandparents, kids, or no, and is a good student. Please contact Carrie Schulz asap at 262-544-1183 or schulzcarr@aol.com if you want more information about hosting Natalia. She will pay all expenses, has medical insurance, and speaks English, as well as Spanish.

Holy Hill Field Trip

A field trip permission slip was sent home with all students in 5K-8th grade and was also emailed to parents for our End of the Year Holy Hill Field Trip. If you did not receive one, please contact the office. Permission Slips are due back Friday, May 21st. Thank you!

After School Care for 2021-2022

Updates for Next Year

The School Calendar for next year will be in next week's newsletter. We will be starting school on Monday, August 30th.

A NOTE FROM Mrs. Longden

Thank you to everyone who helped our teachers feel special for Teacher Appreciation Week!

Happy Mother's Day to all on Sunday!

May is here, our final full month of school. It is quite amazing that the 2020-2021school year has gone by so quickly and that we are finishing so nicely. As a staff we feel that our students really have grown leaps and bounds by being in their seats and in person. Although difficult at times to navigate all of the rules, we believe that our educational standards and goals have been met or will be met by the end of the school year.

We work to develop the body, mind and souls of our students. We are seeing studious kids who are even more appreciative of some of the little things that they took for granted in past years. We see kids who are participating in their faith development and we are fostering the growth of their souls as a priority for our wonderful Catholic school.

God Bless,

Mrs. Longden
