Scholastic Book Fair coming back next week!
We are very excited to have the Scholastic Book Fair back at SHA next week!
It will run from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday next week (May 2 - 5th). Each class will have a time spot for them to attend.

Attendance - Please remember to let us know!
Please let the office know if your child will not be attending school on any day, or if they will be late, either with our Attendance email on our website SHA-Attendance@redeemer.ab.ca or by calling the office directly at 403-901-1544.
When you call or email to submit your child's attendance, please let us know if your child is ill or is not attending for another reason.

2021-2022 Yearbooks for Sale!
Place your order for the 2021-2022 Sacred Heart Academy Yearbook!
They will be sent home with your child when they arrive.
Each full color yearbook will cost $25.00 and can be ordered and paid for online through https://christtheredeemer.schoolcashonline.com
There are only 80 yearbooks available and we usually sell out so don’t delay in ordering!
Pre-K Registrations for 2022 - 2023
- The Little Flower Pre K Program will be a three morning per week program
- The Program will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:25 am to 11:20 am
- The fee is $75.00 per month per student (the total monthly cost to operate our program is $150. Due to the Federal- Provincial Child Care Agreement, the monthly cost to families will be $75 per child) plus a $60.00 Program Registration fee (includes school supplies, snacks and field trips)
Please don’t delay as there is a limited number of students that we can accept and registration is first come first serve.
Kindergarten Registration for 2022-2023
Our school would like to announce to all our families and parish members that we are starting Kindergarten Registration! It’s never too soon to register!
For the 2022-2023 school year, kindergarten students must be five years of age by December 31, 2022.
Our Kindergarten Class Options this year include the following:
· Option A) 5 Full Days Monday to Friday for $125.00 per month
· Option B) 2 Full Days – Monday/Wednesday no fee
· Option C) 2 Full Days – Tuesday/Thursday no fee
We invite our families to forward this information to any friends or family members you have who will have Kindergarten-aged children next year.

Pray for Ukraine
The Church has encouraged the faithful to pray for the imminent restoration of peace, dialogue, and human fraternity in Ukraine, in solidarity with the Head of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, in unison with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, with the people of Ukraine as well as with Canadians of Ukrainian origin and descent.

Student's Prayer for Ukraine
Almighty God we pray for the situation in Ukraine.
We pray for those who live in fear, that you may grant them peace.
We pray that the voices for a peaceful solution may prosper.
Lord, we ask that you raise up peacemakers on all sides.
Give diplomats wisdom, understanding and build trust.
Lord, we lift this prayer to you.
Amen.
Holy and Gracious God
We pray for the people of Ukraine.
We pray for all those who are afraid;
that your everlasting arms hold them in this time of great fear.
We pray for leaders on the world stage;
that they are inspired by the wisdom and courage of Christ.
Above all, Lord, today we pray for peace for Ukraine.
And we ask this in the name of your blessed Son.
