Principal's Notes and Highlights

Happy Friday!


I hope everyone had an enjoyable break with family and friends. We are looking forward to getting 2019 off to a great start at CSA Lincoln Elementary!

  • Classes will resume next Monday, January 7th, 2019.
  • The EBL Playoffs begin this week. Our basketball teams will compete against Clifty Creek Elementary this Monday. The first game will start at 5:30 p.m. at Schmitt Elementary. If either team wins, they will compete against Schmitt Elementary on Wednesday, January 9th at 5:30 p.m. The winner of those games will play in the Final Four on Friday, January 11th at Columbus East High School. Go Huskies!
  • The cheer team will compete in the Super Saturday competition at Columbus East High School on Saturday, January 12th. Good luck ladies!
  • The PTO will be hosting the Winter FUNderland at CSA Lincoln on Friday, January 18th! This event replaces the Fall Festival. Click here for more details and check the PTO section for how to get involved.

Above and Beyond Winners

Congratulations to these three for being recognized as our Above and Beyond Winners. The coaches and athletic director select one student from each sport. These three will be honored during EBL Super Saturday.

Staff Spotlight

Who is that person working car line? The suggestion came up at a CIC meeting to share information about our staff so you can put a name with a face.


Mr. Wright

Mr. Wright is one of the longest-tenured members of our staff. He teaches Third Grade and previously taught Sixth Grade for many years. He is our LEGO Robotics Coach and a member of our Continous Improvement Council. This photo is from the Contraptions for a Cause Project.

PTO Update

Winter FUNderland permission slips are coming home at the first of next week. Please try to get the slip and entrance fee turned back in ASAP! Also, we are still in need of volunteers to help out on Festival day. Please sign up below if you are able.

PEP Night Our 2nd PEP Night is coming up on January 17th. Get your new year started right with pointers on two very important financial topics for parents! Reminders will go out next week with more information.
