First Weeks of Quest
Parents, welcome to a brand new year in Quest! Our class will look and feel very different this year and we are extremely excited about the changes! This year Quest students will participate in many project-based learning activities, advanced academic competitions, and hands-on learning experiences. This first few weeks we will focus on setting the stage for the upcoming year. We have been going over rules, procedures, and parent notes. Please ask your child for information letters and parent forms to be returned if they have not already done so. They should also bring a binder and 5 dividers to class this week if possible. If you would like to send something to share with the class, we need duct tape and packing tape for the kids' projects. Thank you!! It's going to be an AMAZING year!!!

Library Time
Quest students visit the library each week during my class. This week they are checking out books to help them with their academic competitions. Some of them have asked me if they should visit the public library as well. Absolutely! I think it's a great idea! The public library is another great resource for a variety of books. Some of the topics students might be looking for include art, poetry, creative writing, spelling, editorial writing, geography, math, Martin Luther King, and chess. The competitions they chose will determine the books they will want to check out. They are also welcome to bring related books from home.
