#WeAreAwesome!
April 8th is our TESTING Day
Thank you for helping make this day a success! We have testing all morning for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors. Seniors have a special option!
Providing breakfast and a lots of sleep the night before is an AWESOME way to help your child to do their best!
Freshmen will take the PreACT...this test is a predictor/practice for the ACT. Results from this test help students know areas they can work on to get their best ACT score in the future and help our staff to know areas that need additional focus.
Sophomores will do State Testing. The results of these tests not only score our students, but also our school. Excellence on this test reflects positively on our students, staff, and our district report card.
Juniors will take their FREE ACT test. For some students this is the first experience with the ACT. We love that we can host and proctor this exam, providing a comfortable and familiar environment.
Seniors have the opportunity to sign up for: a job shadow for the day, to get volunteer hours during the day, or do a college/trade school visit. A permission form (that must be signed by a parent) will go home next week.
Students not participating in the above activities will have other organized activities to attend at LHS.
The afternoon will be student choice rotations of FUN!
this day does count towards attendance
Congratulations!

Our March Mindset: The Time is Now
Let Yourself Be Vulnerable
This week students explore the power of vulnerability. Parents, assisting your child in taking risks and stepping outside their comfort zone shows them that vulnerability is a strength that leads to growth, resilience, and stronger connections with others.
This mindset helps build important skills like time management, and adaptability, which support both school success and personal growth.
