“Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.” —Maya Angelou
Our team is currently reviewing the recommendations. Our goal is to try to plan for in-person instruction for our students as much as possible. With social distancing requirements, it may limit the number of students in a room, which would require more rooms and more staff to cover those rooms.
With these limitations, we may need to consider a blended model of some students in school and some students in remote learning. From there we would come up with a rotation between those groups.
Next year will be a whole different experience for your child and our teaching staff. We also know some of you are awaiting decisions on our plans in order for you to make planning decisions as well. We will continue to keep families updated on our planning progress.
Continue to stay healthy and safe. We have provided COVID-19 resources on our website for families to review. Click the button below to access these resources.
Incoming 6th Graders - Look for the Caudill Clouds form in the Summer Learning Newsletter or Virtual Backpack
5th Graders Coming to MMS
Transitioning between schools at this time is particularly tricky. Normally we have a Welcome to 6th Grade event in May.
Although we will not be able to have a big welcome event for our incoming 6th graders, Mr. Rowlands and I will try to work out some details for a possible tour in small groups. The timing of this would be late July or early August. I will share any details on something like this as they develop.
MMS is really looking forward to bringing in a new group of students!
In the meantime, be sure to check the summer learning newsletter or virtual backpack for Caudill Book lists.

Likely we will put printed report cards into yearbooks and coordinate pick up details.
