It is important to get the required amount of sleep per night otherwise it could lead to obesity and depression. Getting 8.5 to 9.5 hours of sleep per night can benefit students health , safety , and academics.
Time school should start
School should start around 10:00 am because that is when your brain is fully function able also, going to school at 10:00 gives you much more time to get sleep. The average time school starts is from 8-8:30 am which doesn't give your child very much time and doesn't give them enough sleep.
The dangers of lack of sleep
The price of insufficient sleep may be poor health. Study after study has revealed that people who sleep poorly are at greater risk for a number of diseases and health problems. a lack of sleep especially on a regular basis is associated with long-term health consequences, including chronic medical conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart disease, and that these conditions may lead to a shortened life expectancy.
