FFA Keystone State Degree Awarded to KONNER TRIMMER
To earn his Keystone State Degree, which is the highest level of recognition in FFA in the state, Konnor needed a minimum of 300 hours and $3,000 in investments. Konnor completed a supervised ag experience (sae) project, which included work at his family’s farm, McDannel’s Fruit and Farm Market, and Bear Mountain Orchards. Konnor worked to gain skills in crop load management, orchard maintenance, and pest management. Konnor’s main tasks included trimming trees, thinning apples, working with the automated fruit scouting system, mowing, spraying, and moving fruit during harvest season. Between all three Konnor had a total of 2,300 hours of experience, all of which was completed during his time in high school. Konnor also had a total of $30,290 in financial entries from his project. Konnor also held an FFA officer position each year of high school, participated in 10 chapter events, 5 events above the chapter level, and had 225 hours of community service.

Computer/Business Offerings for Scheduling Classes
You will soon be scheduling classes for next year! The Business Department would like to provide you with a listing of course offerings in our department to better help you choose the elective courses that you are most interested in. Remember, you must complete at least 2 computer elective courses to meet graduation requirements. Personal Finance Management is a required course your Junior/Senior year and does not fulfill the elective requirement.
Attached, you will find a brochure of semester-based courses as well as a few that are year-long. We have several college offerings in our department if you are interested in earning college credit while in high school. Refer to this brochure when you are choosing classes.
If you have any questions or need more information, please reach out to Mrs. Hebert (Rm 308), Mrs. Smith (Rm 305), or Mr. Newberry (Rm 301). We would be happy to help you choose an offering that best matches your needs and likes.
Thank you!
