Week of February 15th

Cline's Corner

I'm hearing great things about the Personalized Learning Sessions that were on Friday. The Schoology session was empowering for Tracy Gayle and Ronda O'Donoghue. They were so excited about what they were learning that they stayed the entire day! I am so excited to see the integration grow in classrooms.

Remember during the cold weather our students still need lots of movement. Please ensure you are incorporating movement into your indoor recess. Our students need it and so do we!

I hope everyone has had a restful break and are ready to tackle this week!

Dr. Seuss Reading Night

Tuesday, March 8th will be our Dr. Seuss night. This is a school wide event! Our families will enjoy a delicious dinner of pizza and lemonade at 6:00. We need each grade level to plan and run a station that evening. K-2 teachers should plan a primary activity and 3-5 teachers should plan an intermediate station. Each activity should last approximately 15 minutes, but will be repeated 3 times. That should provide us with 6 (15 minute) stations and 3 additional stations (book fair, games in the gym and a book walk.) If you need ideas for your grade level see Teresa Karem or Donna Siegel. We will also need helpers to sign families in, serve food, and clean up.Thank you in advance for volunteering to help. Click here to sign up.
Let It Snow - Adding three numbers game

I love this site- Math Coach's Corner. It is worth exploring. This link connects to a fun and interactive game kids can play to practice finding the sum of three addends.
