Wildcat Weekly Update
2.18.22
Sublimity Families,
I hope you are well on this sunny Friday. I’m happy to report that right now we are getting in some of our best instruction and student learning of the entire year. Student attendance has rebounded nicely since January and we are anticipating the end of the Omicron surge. Hopefully, this will lead to even better learning opportunities in the coming weeks and months. With February already 2/3 of the way over, I wanted to provide a couple of quick updates and reminders:
No School on Monday, February 21 - Presidents’ Day
Cold Weather Coming - With freezing temperatures in next week’s forecast, please remember to send your child with warm clothing and a good coat. We’re not out of the woods yet!
Thanks to those Sublimity students and families who attended last week’s event at City Hall. The Parks Board was thrilled to partner with our school and hear your input and support!
As you know, Oregon will lift it’s indoor mask requirements no later than March 31. This will impact our school and everyone will have lots of questions about the ripple effect of this change. In the next few weeks, please stay tuned as the district will communicate details about how this will affect other areas of school operations. We will try to keep you informed and be available to answer questions about health regulations, changes in procedures, and upcoming events.
As always, please reach out to us if you have any questions or if we can help in any way. Have a great weekend and we’ll look forward to seeing your students back next week.
