FBLA Membership
Did you know that FBLA is open to ALL students?
Even though FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America, here at Islands we believe all students should have the opportunity to participate in everything FBLA has to offer. At Islands, FBLA members are able to participate in the following:
--Leadership training
--Community service opportunities
--Academic competitions
--Networking functions
--Day trips and overnight trips
--FBLA only field trips
and much more.
FBLA members also receive a 20% discount on apparel items from The Surf Shop—our school-based enterprise run by the FBLA and the Entrepreneurship classes.
Want to join FBLA, print out the attached form and bring it with you to Open House. FBLA officers will be available outside Room 203 to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Due is just $20 per year, but don’t write that check just yet…you will have the chance to WIN Half-Price Dues, FREE Dues, a FREE Hoodie or T-Shirt with your paid Dues.
We are excited about all the great things we have planned this year with Islands FBLA.
Schedule Change Requests
Student schedules are available via PowerSchool Parent Access Link. Since most of our returning students have already had the opportunity to visit with a counselor and/or advisor regarding their SY22-23 schedules, we ask that if your child does have a schedule change request, concern, or question that you complete the online schedule change request/concern form. Link: https://forms.gle/x49hCY1iEpEbixW89
However, please note, submission of schedule change requests does not guarantee approval. Additionally, schedule changes may not be immediately reviewed for any reason other than the following: 1) the student needs a particular class this year to meet graduation requirements or 2) the student has already taken and passed a class that is on their schedule. Schedule changes/requests will not occur during Open House.
