Meet Some of the Peer Tutors in the GAVS Peer Center
The Georgia Virtual School Peer Center currently has Peer Tutors available in CCGPS Coordinate Algebra, CCGPS Analytic Geometry, 9th Grade Literature and Composition, 10th Grade Literature and Composition, American Literature, Biology, Physics, Latin I, Spanish I, World History, and US History. Below is a little information about a few of the wonderful tutors who are currently working with the Peer Center.
Anisha Mittal
Anisha is available to tutor in CCGPS Analytic Geometry and CCGPS Coordinate Algebra.
Kimberlin Frank
Kimberlin is a senior at Glynn Academy. She is an all-state bass trombonist planning on perusing a career in music education. She is available to tutor in 9th Grade Literature and Composition, 10th Grade Literature and Composition, American Literature, and Spanish I.
Gabrielle Nichols
Gabrielle is available to tutor by email in 9th Grade Literature and Composition and 10th Grade Literature and Composition. She has taken multiple classes with Georgia Virtual School and also has 5 younger siblings for whom she provides tutoring on a regular basis.
Ashley Harold
Ashley is a junior at Commerce High School (Go Tigers!) and she loves helping others in any way that she can. Ashley is available to tutor in Spanish I, Latin I, U.S. History, and 9th Grade Literature and Composition.
Jessica Ungar
Jessica is a junior at Campbell High School. She is available to tutor in Physics.

- Exceptional organizational and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to engage and inspire students

The Peer Center Leader - Ms. Erin Hill
Ms. Hill is an Assistant Supervisor of Instruction with Georgia Virtual School and has been working with GAVS for 9 years. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Arts in Teaching Secondary Science degree from Piedmont College.
She lives in Jefferson, Georgia with her husband of 14 years and her two children, Madeline (10) and Noah (3).
