8th Grade Party

Friday, Jan. 21st, 3-5pm

8800 Penner Avenue

De Soto, KS

Eighth grade will be having their party, Winter Wonderland, on Friday, January 21st, from 3:05-5:00 p.m. This is a fun get-together with music, dancing, foosball, fun activities, and snacks! Students are asked to bring a drink, snack, or other item to share.

Parents are responsible for their child’s transportation home from the party (5:00 pick-up time please). Only students from LTMS are allowed to attend (parent helpers are welcome).

For safety reasons, all drinks and snacks must be individually packaged. This means no two-liter pop bottles; instead, please bring individual cans or juice boxes. All snacks must be individually packaged when purchased, so do not purchase large packages of cookies, chips, or crackers, and separate it yourself into baggies. Also, as nut allergies are so common, please don’t bring in anything with nuts or nut products. If your child has food allergies, perhaps send in something they are able to enjoy.

*Suggestions of things to bring: If your 1st hour is with . . .

Mrs. Johnson: Individual packages of cookies.

Mrs. Talbott: Cans of pop, juice boxes, or water bottles

Mr. Crady: Individual chip or cracker bags

Mrs. Schram: Bags of candy (trick or treat size or individually wrapped candies)

Mr. Gastelum: Individually packaged cereal or granola bars

We could use a few parents to help with the activities and chaperone. Please contact Mrs. Roberts nroberts@usd232.org or Ms. Doty sdoty@usd232.org if you are able to help or if you have any questions.
