Titan Girls Bowling Team are Sectional Champions
The Titan Girls Bowling Team are Sectional Champions and will compete in the State Bowling Tournament March 13th-15th.
Chris Pannell won his weight class at Super Sectionals and qualified for the State Wrestling tournament which takes place in Albany this weekend. Good Luck to Chris and Coach Cook! Congratulations to all Titan wrestlers on a good season!

Cheerleading
The Cheer team Place Second in the Sectionals and by doing so have qualified for the States which take place March 7th a RIT.
Boys Basketball
The Boys hosted Franklin Tuesday night in a sectional game. They came away with a 66- 51 win and advanced to play McQuaid tonight at 7pm in a quarter final game. Dannie Palmer led all scores with 21 points. Andrew Mason had 20 and Jackson Kulak tallied 13 on the night.
Girls Basketball
The Girls pulled off a 1 point victory Wednesday night 44-43 vs Hilton. With the win they advance to the quarterfinals. Freshman Madalyn Kelly led the scoring with 16 points. Senior Lyndsay Cuff had15 and senior Audrey Mack had 9 points on the night.
The Titans will play Penfield at Penfield High School tonight at 7pm.
Boys Swimming
Good Luck to our Swimmers and Divers who will be competing in States this weekend!
Hockey
Hockey played a Semi Final game against Churchville Chili Tuesday night. It was a close physical battle. The Titans scored with less than 4 minutes left in the game to take a 3-2 lead and held off Churchville to win the game. Scoring for the Titans were Cade Spencer, Kyle Vent and Cullen Hennessey had the game winner. The Titans advanced to play at RIT in the Section V Class B Final Sunday at 1PM.

Staff and Students of the Month
9th grade- Jasmine Johnson-Fletcher
Jasmine comes to class every day with a smile on her face and a desire to learn. She puts forth a great amount of effort into everything she does. Jasmine is supportive and collaborative with her peers which makes her a great role model in class.
10th grade- Leah Wirley
Leah spreads a little sunshine in class each day with her positive energy, willingness to participate, and ability to laugh at herself. She takes her work seriously, but still has fun throughout the process and is a leader in her class because of it.
11th Grade- Sara Munoz
Sara is soulful. She sees classwork in a deeper way than many others, making connections between classes and to the broader world. She asks for help when she needs it, listens intently, and is able to put the feedback into her work in her own unique and effective way.
12th Grade- TJ Leverett
TJ is a student who knows the meaning of working hard, both as a student and as an athlete. He is committed to proving himself both on the field and in the classroom, and I appreciate his meaningful contributions to discussions in class.

Webster High School Sailing Club
The Webster Sailing Club starts practice on Tuesday March 17th and will continue through May 22nd. The team practices Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3:30-6:30pm at the Rochester Yacht Club. SENIOR TRIP:
All seniors should have received a copy of the senior trip packet which includes important information regarding trip details, payment and required forms, important dates, policies and rules, and packing information.
There is a MANDATORY parent/student meeting on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30 p.m. in the Thomas auditorium for all seniors planning to attend the trip. Students and at least one parent must attend.

This year’s prom will be held on:

Juniors: We will be selling tickets to prom from Monday, March 9 – Friday, March 13.
In order to qualify for a ticket under the donation program, you must have a total of $90 in your account. If your account totals $90 or more, your ticket is covered. All you need to do is pick up your ticket during the week of ticket sales. If you are unsure of your balance, please contact Mrs. Jurs or Mrs. Zimmerman.
If you have less than $90 in your account and would like to attend, your options are listed below:
Option One: Pay $65 for a ticket.
Option Two: Pay the remaining amount needed to reach an account balance of $90.
Option Three: Pay the remaining amount needed to reach an account balance of $130 and be covered for your Junior Prom ticket, Senior Year Spirit Week T-Shirt, Senior Ball ticket and dinner, and Senior Breakfast.
Guests: If you are bringing a guest who is not a member of the junior class, you will need to arrange payment for him/her. You may purchase a ticket for your guest during the week of ticket sales. Tickets are $65 each. Please note that if you would like to bring a guest who is not a Webster Thomas student, you will need to complete a guest form located in your House Office.

Payments can be made with cash or check.

Money is due by Friday, March 13th
! Please Note:
In order for us to be able to give an accurate guest count to our venue, you MUST purchase or pick up your ticket during the week of March 9- March 13. March 13th, even if you are paid under the donation program, you will no longer be able to get your ticket. As a result, you will be unable to attend prom.
Tickets and donation program funds are non-transferrable.
Expectations for Junior Prom:
You must have a ticket to enter prom.
You must be in school on Friday, May 1 in order to attend prom. If you are absent, you will not be admitted.
If you are bringing a guest who is not a current Thomas student, you will need to complete a guest form located in your House Office
Once you arrive at prom, you may not leave and come back. If you leave, you will be asked to leave the grounds and will not be readmitted.

From the Student Center...
Attention Seniors: The common application for senior awards is now available in the Student Center. This is a process where you are able to apply for multiple awards with one application. Deadline to submit your application is March 31st by 3:20pm.
Attention Juniors: The following colleges are visiting this spring: RIT, University of Pittsburgh, University of Kentucky, and Marywood University. Sign up in our naviance account to meet with representatives from these schools. If you are having issues with your naviance account, please stop by the student center to resolve.
Attention Juniors - There is a common application available for junior college awards. Applications are available in the Student Center. A few of the colleges on the application include: Clarkson, RIT, RPI, and U of R. Completed applications are due back to the Student Center by Friday, March 20th.
Attention Sophomores: The PreACT is a practice ACT exam that Thomas is offering on Saturday, March 21st. Registration forms are available in the Student Center and are due back by Tuesday, March 17th. The exam cost is $14.00 by check only payable to WTHS PreACT.
The ASVAB exam is available on Saturday, March 28th at Thomas HS. The ASVAB is a multi aptitude exam for high school students that helps align your skills with your interests. This exam may help you explore future career goals regardless of your plans after high school. This exam is FREE and registration forms are available in the Student Center.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office Teen Police Academy now has applications available in the Student Center. This is a one week camp in the summer that involves physical training, classroom instruction, reality-based training and team building exercises. There is an application and interview process conducted by the Sheriff's department. Pick up your application in the Student Center and return it by March 6th.
Attention Juniors: Laboratory for Laser Energetics - Rochester-area high school juniors are eligible to apply for this summer program at the University of Rochester. Accepted students are assigned to a research project of current scientific interest and supervised by a staff scientist at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics at the University of Rochester. Applications are available in the Student Center or you may apply at www.lle.rochester.edu. Deadline to apply is March 10, 2020.
Roberts Wesleyan College is hosting the Black Scholars College Workshop & Career Fair on Saturday, March 14th starting at 9:00am. The admissions tour begins at 9:00 and then workshops to follow that consist of financial aid, the FAFSA, scholarship information, college summer programs internships employment and academic opportunities.
