Note from the Principal

Dear Families of Hazeldale,

It's my 22nd year as an educator, 20th year in Beaverton School District, and my 10th year serving as principal at Hazeldale Elementary. Beginning July 1st I am honored to begin serving as the principal at Beaver Acres Elementary right down the road. Still a part of the Aloha High School community!

Pictured above shows a picture I used to introduce myself to the community when I was first selected in 2010 to join the wonderful community of Hazeldale. Eilee wasn't even 2 years old and Grace was going into 2nd grade. Now middle school and last year of high school. Anyone that works in a school knows that we feel more like family than coworkers in many ways. I struggle to think of words to express how grateful I am for how the staff, students, and community of Hazeldale has impacted and shaped my family and I personally and professionally. Everything shapes us, and being a part of the Hazeldale community has shaped me in ways that I am so very humbled by.

Thank you for entrusting Hazeldale with your children, with your time, and with your trust. I know many of our relationships we have built together will continue. I am confident that growth as a school and great things for students and the community will continue with the leadership of Bao Vang as she has the strong community of Hazeldale to support her.

Working with you for kids,

Angela Tran
