A Note from the Principal

Thank you parents and staff for all your efforts in educating our Park School students. Time is really flying by and we only have 21 days left in our second quarter. Since we will be at our half-way point this year, both Dibels and MAPS assessments will be given in December to access student progress. Report cards will be coming your way in early January. Our "learning clock" continues to be in constant motion.


Thank you to a very dedicated PTO group for planning fun activities and providing funding to have some "extras" here at school.


December will be bringing an excellent Musical Program from our second and third graders, as well as, an opportunity to shop at our annual Sugar Plum Shoppe.


Take a pause this Thanksgiving and find some time to reflect on "only" the positives. Everyone should be thankful for this season.

Please send your child to school with labeled, weather appropriate clothing for recess. Recess will be outdoors as long as the wind-chill is above 15 degrees. We do not have extra clothes available at school.

Deadline for Tickets is DECEMBER 1ST!

The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders and their families will be invited to participate in the Sing for Santa event at the Cleveland Monsters game on Saturday, December 17th at 12 pm. This will be our second year participating and we had a great time last year. All staff members and their families are invited to attend, also! We'd love to have you there. To purchase tickets, you can visit https://www.chardon.k12.oh.us/TicketsDonations.aspx and scroll down to the bottom of the page. Staff/family tickets will be the $20 option. The deadline to purchase tickets is 12/1. Let me know if you have any questions!

Side note- Parents are responsible for their children at this event- no staff supervision :)
