Exhibitions Over ... Moving On to The Hate U Give (November 27th - December 15th 2017)
We are just weeks away from our Winter break... But lots much work to do.
In the coming weeks the whole school will be reading and talking about a popular young adult novel, The Hate U Give. It's a provocative story, that once you start reading you will not want to put the book down.
In the mean time check out what's been going on and what's coming up in Humanities.
The Hate U Give
We are excited to announce the One Book U School selection, “The Hate U Give” by Angie Thomas. The entire school community including teachers, staff, and students from 9th - 12th grade will be reading the same book. “The Hate U Give” is a young adult novel that follows a protagonist drawn to activism after she witnesses the police shooting of her unarmed friend. If you would like to preview parts or all of the story we have an audio version of the book for your review.
