🙂 Spanish Update 🙂
¡Hola!
- On weeks that your child does NOT have Spanish, he/she may visit my Canvas page and go to the section called "Songs and Games" to sing and practice. Simply click on his/her grade level and go.
- Grades K, 1, 3, and 4 are doing a culture project during their Spanish week with me. (2nd grade will do one in October/November.)
- If you haven't already received supplies (K,1,3, 4 only), you may pick some up outside of door 2 at your convenience BEFORE your child(ren)'s week of Spanish. There is a box labeled Spanish with a bag for each grade level. Take one from the bag and wait for Spanish class to learn what to do.
🙂 ¡Gracias! 🙂

SNACK ATTACK
Sand Creek Elementary is pleased to announce the Snack Attack program for those students in need. This program, supported by the Fishers Youth Assistance Program, is designed to provide students a little extra nourishment for the weekend until they can receive a hot meal at school.
Here's how the program works:
- Your student will pick up a small sack of food to be taken home. The sack is filled with individually wrapped snacks such as granola bars, fruit cups, pop tarts, peanut butter/crackers, Goldfish crackers, etc.
- The type of snacks will vary each week.
Please let us know if your child has a peanut allergy
as he/she will receive a special bag of peanut-free snacks.
- There is no cost to you or the school.
- The program starts after Labor Day.
- Your student will receive their Snack Attack sack on one of their in-person days during Phase 2.
If you are interested in having your student participate in FYAP's Snack Attack or have questions, please contact Jennifer Jacks, School Counselor at jjacks@hse.k12.in.us or 317-915-4270.
