Data Day Preparation Request
While we will have AIMSweb data prepared and ready to share, winter data day is largely driven by the information you provide on your grade level's template. Essentially I am asking you to reflect on the following three questions:
- What students NEED an intervention (who are currently not getting one)?
- What students may be ready to EXIT an intervention they are currently in?
- What students may require a change of intervention (students who are in one, but may need something more or different)?
Please complete this template as a grade level no later than Friday, January 24th.
*** Please note, each grade level has their own tab at the bottom of the page
*** Everyone has editing rights, so interventionists may also add relevant notes to the template.

If you have already submitted your Form 5 and have a meeting scheduled, thank you!
If you haven't yet submitted your Form 5 (documenting Domains 1 & 4), keep reading.
Please take some time in the near future to complete form 5, submit it to me through Evaluwise, and send me a calendar invite. I would like to have all Form 5's submitted and have mid-year meetings completed by the end of January if possible.
****Please remember, Form 5 can be found under your INFORMAL observation in Evaluwise. Please do not hesitate to see me with any questions!

STAFF SUMMER SOCIAL OUTING
Save the Date- Summer Cubs Outing RSVP- June 16th
This summer we are planning a CUBS outing at Wrigley Field! The date is Tuesday night, June 16th. Here is the plan:
Tuesday, June 16th
- 4:00 -6:00 p.m. Meet at Brickhouse Tavern (adjacent to Wrigley Field) for food and spirits! We have a space reserved and food and drinks will be provided. Cost will be $50/ person (This covers the OUTDOOR rental space, and per person food & drink package)
- 6:00- 7:00 p.m. Feel free to stay put, or head inside Wrigley's friendly confines for the Cubs vs. Met's game. (If you choose to attend the game, you will need to purchase your own bleacher seat for around $50)
- Post Game- Slugger's (for those in for the long haul!)
I am looking for firm commitment for planning purposes. Please use the link below if you are confident in attending. Spouses and significant others are welcome to attend! Your call! Please also feel free to share this information with former WHS Staffers!

Favorite Memory of a recent school experience:
I always enjoy the 5th Grade Clap-Out at the end of the year. Not only because it signifies the end of the school year, but it is always amazing to see the growth of students from when they were in the primary grades at WHS to all grown-up and ready for middle school.
Fondest Memory of your own elementary experience:
Playground time with my friends! I loved hanging out with friends and playing on the playground equipment as it allowed time to unwind from the demands of school.
Three Words That Describe Me:
Kind, Caring, Busy
Bucket List:
I'm looking forward to traveling again once my kids are a bit older.
What is your hidden talent?
Baking!
What advice would you give to someone just starting off their career in education?
Flexibility and patience are key!
What is the last joke that you recall?
"Why are fish so smart? Give up? Because they swim in schools!" Courtesy of Fozzie Bear from the Muppet Babies.
Best Concert Experience:
I had the opportunity to attend one of the original Lollapalooza shows back in high school. I have been to many concerts since, but that one stands out in my mind.
Staff Shout Outs!
Please take some time to recognize a colleague for making a difference at WHS! Give them a shout out by using the button at the bottom of this section!
Allison, Neil, Lisa, Rachel
Thanks to these 4 who brought their classes to the LRC to help the kindergarteners learn how to pick books from the shelves. All the older kids did an excellent job with our littlest kiddos, and our library is still intact!
Cathi, Rachel, Kristen R, Anna and Rebecca
For their willingness to drop everything to help others
Shelly Meiers
For being so gracious with time and effort to support not only the student talent show acts, but also helping to coordinate the music for ths STAFF act! Thank You!
