ROMAN COLISEUM

His name
The coliseum or coloseum, or also know as the "Flavian Amphitheater". It's an elliptical amphitheater in the centre of the city of Rome. It was built of concrete and stone, it's the largest amphitheater in the world, and it's considered one of the greatest works of architecture and engineering.
Where is it?
The coliseum is situated just at the east of Rome forum. The construction began under the emperor Vespasian in 72 A.D. , and was completed in 80 A.D. under his successor and their Titus. Further modifications were made during the region of Domination (81-96). These three emperors are knew as the Flavian dynasty, and the amphitheater was named in Latin for its association with their family name (Flavius)
Recommendations
It's advisable to start the visit to the Coliseum from the outside, circling the monument to appreciate all the construction details. Technicals perfections achieved by the Romans in this building are striding.
The inside
In the visit inside you can see the galleries, terraces, stairways, space arena with underground uncovered. But specially revive the ancient world shows in a very intense way. A good guide is irreplaceable at this time.
