Message from the Principal
Price Families,
Our first week back with students was a great success. We welcomed our 6th graders and some of our special programs this week. I was so impressed with how well our students learned new behaviors, procedures and a new learning model.
We are ready to welcome our 7th and 8th graders back on Monday/Tuesday next week for their first day. Below are some reminders to ensure a great transition:
Cohort A Schedule Hybrid students with last names A-L
Cohort B Schedule Hybrid students with last names M-Z
Hybrid Schedule for VSP students All VSP students
Students will need to enter certain gates depending on the class they have in the morning and what class they are leaving from in the afternoon. Here is the map for reference: Price Gate Map
Students will be allowed into the gates starting at 8:15. Class starts at 8:30.
Gates A & B (back field & parking lot to CC) - Students with PE or Band/Choir classes will enter here as well as those that will use Gate 1.
Gate 1 (CC) - Students with classes in rooms 25-37
Gate 2 (between rooms 2 & 3) - Students with classes in rooms 1-6
Gate 3 (main front entrance) - Students with classes in rooms 9-24
Gate 4 (between rooms 16 & 42) - Students with classes in rooms 39-42
Masks
Students are expected to wear a mask the entire day while at school. They can wear a cloth or surgical mask, but are not allowed to wear neck gaiter masks. Students should have a couple extra masks in their backpack in case their masks get soiled. In addition, teachers will have extra in their classrooms to give to students just in case.
Students will be given masks breaks as needed and can take their masks off while eating/drinking outside.
Food & Drinks
School drinking fountains have been disabled. Students must bring a water bottle from home. Bottle fillers on campus will be available to students.
Students may bring their lunches/snacks from home or receive lunch/brunch from the school. Our cafeteria will be serving a free lunch/brunch available to all students outside our cafeteria each school day. The school lunch pick up program will also continue:
In the Price parking lot outside of room 2-3
11:00-1:00 Monday through Friday
Free to all families
Chromebook
Students need to bring their district issued Chromebook to and from school every day. We will still be using Google Classroom and Kami as well as other learning tools. If your child does not yet have a Chromebook from the school district, you need to fill out the loan agreement.
Please include your child’s first period teacher on the email when you submit it: Chromebook Loan Agreement. They will be given a Chromebook in their first period class once the form has been submitted.
Health Check App
- Fill out the Health Check App every morning using the link sent daily. Even if your child is not scheduled to be on campus or is sick, you must still complete it and then choose the "off campus" option.
- If you are not receiving the AM email please let our Health Clerk know ASAP at keenanm@cambriansd.com If you have a Gmail account, check your Promotions folder.
For our students remaining in virtual learning for the year, the administration and our leadership team will continue to make sure that you have opportunities to participate in activities, spirit days and other fun school events. You are every bit a Panther!
Charge up your Chromebook and have a great weekend!

By law, medication of any kind cannot be administered at school (including asthma inhalers, Tylenol, cough syrup, or epi-pens) unless a medication form has been completed and signed by the parent and the child's doctor. These forms must be submitted every year and must be on file before the student can return to school. This is for the safety of your child and we must have documents on file before each student arrives on campus.
If your child has any health conditions that require medication please fill out a Medication Authorization Form and return it to our Health Clerk, Maura Keenan, in the Price Office. You can scan it and email to her at : keenanm@cambrainsd.com.
If your child has an allergy, asthma or other medical condition of concern we will also need the appropriate Emergency Care Plan listed below filled out and signed by your child's doctor. These forms are available through the Cambrian website and attached through the links below:
