Brené Brown on Blame

We love this video of Brené Brown on Blame but there is a moment of explicit language at 0:45. The video is 3:25 minutes long.

Home Connections

As educators, we know the importance of involving families in their student's educational journey. Coleman et al. found that the family factor is as efficient as the school in student achievement. Numerous other researchers have found that parental or familial involvement increases student learning and academic success.

Families are busier now than ever before. One easy place for families to make the most out of the time they have together is to have family discussions at mealtimes. Share these Mealtime Conversation Starters with your families and get them purposefully talking!

Try using this text within this framework with your students either reading aloud yourself or using the Netflix Jr. read aloud done by Grace Byers herself, linked below.
