Vladimir Lenin
In 1903, he took a key role in the RSDLP schism and in 1917 he was overthrown and a provisional government took power.
Joseph Stalin
He subsequently managed to consolidate power following the 1924 death of Lenin through suppressing Lenin's criticisms (in the postscript of his testament) and expanding the functions of his role, all the while eliminating any opposition.
Karl Marx
Karl Heinrich Marx was a German philosopher, economist, sociologist, historian, journalist, and revolutionary socialist.
