News from Principal Lewis
Good afternoon, Maple Families!
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and flexibility in this journey, while we worked all summer to prepare for the opening of school! We are all adjusting to this new way of "school" and designing ways to support our Maple Mustangs to be the most successful they can in this remote setting. Whether you are in the AM Cohort or the PM Cohort, in Blended or Remote, in the Shine Program, or if your teacher in Remote is not a Maple teacher, our Maple Mustangs continue to all be part of our Maple Family! We want you all to participate in the community events that we will schedule this year, and stay connected to your friends here at Maple. We are a Maple Family through and through, and we will stand strong together through distance until we can see each other again!
We all just received communication from our Superintendent that there is a change in schedules for Wednesdays, starting after Labor Day. More information will be communicated in next week's Mustang Chronicle.
In regard to "Rolling Black Out", due to heat, I will also try to get more information about that and what to do if this impacts us during Remote Learning.
The best we can do is to help our Maple Mustangs to be their best, and to allow our students to transition to get to know their new teacher and new classmates in this remote setting. Although the setting is new, our expectations are for our Maple Mustangs to have a "LET YOURSELF GROW" year!
I cannot promise a week of no small waves, but our hope is that we can ride the waves together and come out stronger in the end.
Please reach out if you have additional questions @ plewis@conejousd.org.
Proud to be a Maple Mustang!

This will serve as the backdrop for our photos during the Material's Pick Up, this Tuesday, August 18!
Thank you to all those who provided donations of school supplies and snacks for Maple Families who would benefit from this support.
