Student Success Team CELEBRATIONS!
- Special thanks to all of you for submitting your survey responses by Sunday at noon!
- Kudos to CTE! Dr. Allen and her team hosted a successful Career Fair at the high school on Valentine's Day! The CTE students did a wonderful job of showcasing their talents for visitors.
- Congratulations, Ms. DuHart and her team! A student who has been struggling to meet graduation requirements passed his last SOL exam yesterday! Special thanks to everyone who worked so hard to meet his individual needs and support his success!
- Hats off to Blandford Academy (again!) this week! Ms. Davis and her team hosted a Meet and Greet dinner for students and their families on Wednesday, February 15th. Local restaurants and grocery stores donated hot meals, desserts, and drinks for the event! Parents were able to meet their children's teachers, and learn about the academic and behavioral expectations. The venue was decorated by a team of Blandford students. The event was a resounding success! Congratulations, Blandford!

NEW Format for Student Success Team's Weekly Update Submission!
Thanks to everyone who has provided feedback on which goals to use. Each of you developed goals at the beginning of the year that are connected to the Divisionwide Goals outlined in our Corrective Action Plan.
In answering which goal your weekly action supports, you may reference your personal goals OR the divisionwide goals. Ideally, the two will be closely connected.
As a reminder, the goals outlined in our Corrective Action Plan are:
- Engage students in challenging and relevant learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication
- Recruit, hire and retain quality leaders and teachers who believe their talent and investment of time make a difference
- Establish purpose and direction for the division through the development of a strategic plan
- Create environments conducive to teaching and learning by strengthening relationships within schools
- Strategically engage parents in the academic success of their children by collaborating with community partners
