New Language in State Policy TCP-C-004 Regarding Teacher Evals

A. "Comprehensive" Evaluation Cycle


  1. Beginning Teachers
  2. Lateral Entry Teachers
  3. Experienced Teachers new to ACS (SP2 in 1st or 2nd year with ACS)

B. "Standard" Evaluation Cycle


  1. Experienced Teachers who have completed 2 years with ACS and in renewal year
  2. Experienced Teachers who have completed 2 years with ACS and not in renewal year may still have Standard Evaluation Cycle if principal chooses*
  3. Career Contract Teachers in renewal year
  4. (We don't know what happens in 2018)

C. "Abbreviated" Evaluation Cycle


  1. Experienced Teachers who have completed 2 years with ACS and not in renewal year may have Abbreviated Evaluation Cycle if principal chooses*
  2. Career Contract Teacher in non-renewal years
  3. (We don't know what happens in 2018)
