Mrs. Smallwood's Autobiography!

All About Me!!!

Introduction

I was born June 10th, in Middletown, Ohio. As a child I was able to travel with my Dad's company living in exciting places such as California, Connecticut, and Colorado just to name a few. We moved to Texas when I was 5 and lived here until I graduated college and got married.

Meet My Family

Welcome to my "All About Me" page! I am so excited to be able to work in Anna I.S.D. for my 10th out of 17 years of teaching. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades, along with Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and ESL students. I feel that teaching is a calling, and I am so glad that you shared your child with me this year.
A little about my family! I have been married to my wonderful husband Thomas for 18 years and we have 2 children. My daughter is involved in track, honors classes, voice, piano, power lifting, rugby, church mission trips, youth praise band and is a Varstiy cheerleader. My son plays football, rugby, loves to ride his dirt bike, fish, clay shoot, and anything to do with the outdoors. We have had many adventures as a family moving from Anna, to Destin, Florida, Santa Fe, N,M,. and finally back to Texas.
My hope is for every student to thrive in a positive learning environment and come away with a love for learning. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!

Hugs,
Mrs. Smallwood
